OMNI Channel Project

The project contract type is a CCDC2 stipulated sum contract.  The scope of services includes general contracting services for the renovation of a customized reception area and new meeting rooms and digital service desk at the City of Vaughan.  Facilities required accommodation for daily operations throughout the construction and UCI worked directly with the facilities managers and project team to ensure that the construction sites were safe for the ongoing operations and staff.

The scope of work includes full demolition of existing finishes such as flooring, wall, and ceilings, electrical and mechanical.

Installation of new interior built-out of partition walls, ceilings, custom LED lighting, auto door operator, HVAC system and new equipment, security systems, sprinklers, communications, acoustic panels, extensive custom millwork and structural steel work.

The project is to be delivered in a fully operating facility. To ensure schedule is maintained, UCI has submitted shop drawings for long lead time items prior to mobilization on site. The services provided by UCI comprise of a full team of project management, site supervision and subcontractors to deliver a successful project.
