Archives Area Renovations

Renovation of Archive area, processing room and mechanical room upgrade. UCI provided full construction management services and project management to deliver scope on time and on budget. The construction scope entailed working in an operating facility and to ensure that the safety of staff and visitors was managed.

The project delivery was to be completed within a very sensitive schedule.
UCI ensured that long lead items were ordered in advance to enable the installation prior to the contract completion date.

Project area included of new processing room space, archive storage area and mechanical room upgrade.

The work included full demolition of existing HVAC equipment, duct work plumbing pipe and sprinkler, masonry wall, T-Bar ceilings, and electrical.

Installation of new interior built-out, new fire rated partition walls, ceilings, LED lighting, new HVAC system, security systems, sprinklers, communications, custom millwork, custom door and frame and painting of all open ceiling space and walls.

The work was completed with minimal disruption to the operations and allowed the owner to transition into their new space on a daily basis.
