York Regional Police Headquarters

Renovation Front desk lobby and office renovation at the York Region Police Headquarters. UCI provided full construction management services and project management to deliver scope on time and on budget.  The construction scope entailed working in an operating facility and to ensure that the safety of staff and visitors was managed.

The project delivery was to be completed within a very sensitive schedule of 4 weeks. UCI ensured that long lead items were ordered in advance to enable the installation prior to the contract completion date. New office space, washroom, reception and visitor waiting area. Scope of work included architectural finishes, mechanical and plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, sprinklers and specialty electrified glass. The work was completed with minimal disruption to the operations and allowed the owner to transition into their new space on a daily basis.
