Paramedic Response Stations

The project contract type is a CCDC2 stipulated sum contract.  The scope of services included general contracting services for the renovation of two paramedic stations for the Regional Municipality of York.  Both locations were to be completed simultaneously in operating facilities. The facilities required accommodation for daily operations throughout the construction and UCI worked directly with the facilities managers and project team to ensure that the construction sites were safe for the ongoing operations and staff.

The work included full demolition of existing finishes such as flooring, walls, ceilings, electrical and mechanical and installation of new interior built-out of partition walls, drywall and T-bar ceilings, LED lighting, HVAC system, fire alarm, sprinklers, new security devices to match building system, communications and AV system and custom millwork for new kitchen, offices and write up room . UCI comprised of a full team of project management, site supervision and subcontractors to deliver a successful project.
